Immediate Supervisor: General Manager / Front Office Manager
Position Summary: Night Auditor
Position Status: Part Time Permanent position for the summer leading to Full Time in October
Start Date: Flexible – approx. June 1, 2021
The successful candidate will be responsible for completing all “End of Day” accounting activities as well as any required front desk duties.
Specific Skills:
- Lead Audit Operations on a daily basis
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
- Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Front Desk
- Register arriving guests / process guest departures
- Handle cash and credit card transactions
- Answer guest inquiries in a timely and accurate manner
- Create accurate reservations
- Handle guest requests and complaints according to brand standards
- Lead First Response in emergency situations; fire, power outage, flood
- Investigate and resolve out of balance accounts
- Completion of close day process accurately and on time
- Balance front office and food & beverage daily postings
- Uphold Best Western brand standards
- Clear and concise communication with colleagues, and Managers
- Preparing and distributing daily reports for various departments
