Scope:
Ensures guest satisfaction and revenue optimization through preventative maintenance and upkeep of guest rooms, public areas and all equipment as well as expense management. To assist guests efficiently and courteously in all maintenance related functions, while projecting high standards of service and professional hospitality at all times.
 
Technical Skill Requirements:
Ability to perform maintenance associate duties
  • Familiar with frequently used tools and understand their use.
  • Building Management Controls systems.
  • Basic knowledge of how to operate maintenance equipment. Ability to solve basic equipment problems and/or who to contact for resolution.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for engineering department, including, but not limited to, pool, hot tub, basic plumbing, basic carpentry, basic electrical, and HVAC repairs, rooms maintenance, light bulb replacement.
  • Respond in a courteous manner to guest questions, complaints and/or requests. Maintain security of equipment, keys and supplies issued each day.
  • Keep pool and pool areas maintained and readings accurate at all times.
  • Support and monitor team members to ensure the team’s entire workload is completed daily.
  • Responsible for overall maintenance on hotel grounds.
  • Responsible to provide Fire Panel training for managers & supervisors.
  • Manager on Duty shifts.
  • Maintains a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.
