The Best Western Plus Dartmouth is accepting applications for the position of Sales Manager. We are looking for a Sales Manager to work out of our Dartmouth hotel. The Best Western Plus Dartmouth is a very successful corporate and leisure hotel that maintains a high quality in service and product. The successful candidate will be the leading sales contact for the hotel and conference centre. Job Description: -Monitor quotas for sales activities and production for sales department -Work closely with the management and corporate team to accomplish overall goals set for the hotel -Maintain active accounts within corporate and group market -Work with Brand Sales Manager and coordinator to ensure proper flow of accounts -Liaison with Corporate office on marketing initiatives -Implement monthly calendar of internal and external marketing activities, including all hotel promotions -Prepare a variety of reports including month end rooms revenue and sales related information -Develop travel schedule and budget -Participate in assigned trade shows -Conduct sales presentations to individuals and groups -Conduct sales calls on prospective & pre-qualified accounts Job Requirements: -Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingualism is an asset -3 to 6 years sales experience, preferably in the Hospitality and Tourism Field -Strong organizational skills -Excellent inter-personal skills for dealing with clients and peers -Good computer skills -Required to be self motivated, decisive, responsible and capable of working under stressful conditions -Must possess analytical skills to prepare reports and to solve routine problems Those interested in applying are invited to forward a resume with cover page in confidence no later than June 15, 2017 to: Human Resources Department Best Western Plus Dartmouth 15 Spectacle Lake Dr Dartmouth NS B3B 1X7 Fax: 902-465-2225 email: hr@bestwesterndartmouth.com No Phone Calls Please | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
