RESPONSIBILITES
• Embrace Delta’s Connex standards, F&B standards and Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Interpret banquet event orders to ensure the proper set up, hospitable service and clearing of food and beverage while maintaining all standards.
• Utilize creativity in the building and design of buffets and décor.
• Serve banquet functions.
• Restock supplies.
• Meet and greet guests effectively.
• Ensure cleanliness of the front and back of the house and ensuring the safety of guests
• Help create a positive work environment, through teamwork and cooperation with peers and team leaders.
• Actively participate in monthly departmental communication meetings.
• Contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by reporting all safety hazards, following WHMIS and Fire safety training, and working in a safe manner.
QUALIFICATIONS, ABILITIES, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
• An energetic and outgoing individual who is well organized and can perform multiple tasks.
• Able to deal with a busy environment while working at a fast pace.
• A professional, friendly manner and committed to providing exceptional guest service.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Able to work along or as part of a team.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible to varied work shifts (days, evenings, weekends, holidays).
• Able to lift objects in excess of 25 lbs.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
• Previous serving experience is an asset.
• Must have some weekday availability |
