Bartender (Full Time)

We are seeking an experienced bartender to work in our bar. The position is full time, from 3pm to 11pm. Shifts include work week-days, week-ends, and holidays.

Job Summary: The role of this position is to interact with our guests and ensure they have a great experience when dining at Lakeside Grill & Bar. Bartenders are responsible for positive guest interactions while serving guests in a friendly and efficient manner. At all times, bartenders are expected to be attentive to our guest needs making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed. As a primary guest contact employee, Bartenders have a direct impact on future business.

Reporting to the Outlets Manager, duties include but not limited to:
- Provide food and beverage service to guests seated in the bar and patio
- Prepare beverages promptly and accurately for servers and guests
- Accountable for a cash float and proper settlement procedures for bills
- Ensure operational and sanitation procedures are adhered to.

Qualifications:
- Training in Mixology and Responsible Beverage Service an asset
- Ability to project a professional, friendly and courteous image to guests
- Ability to assert authority and make sound judgements with confidence
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of handling a physically demanding workload, including lifting, or standing for long periods of time.
