| This is an excellent opportunity for an established hospitality management professional to oversee the pre-opening and operations of a 94 - room limited service property. Position begins March 2016. BASIC RESPONSIBILITES: Recruit and hire management team and associates; supervise staff, conduct performance reviews, conduct training sessions Utilize leadership and motivational skills to maximize employee productivity and satisfaction and ensuring an engaged workforce Ensure high level of service standard is delivered to all guests through hands on management and mentoring other staff Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees Take a leadership role within the local community and build a positive reputation for the company through active participation and support. Mentor other staff to follow the same standards. Develop, implement and maintain business plan and budget Monitor industry trends and recommend appropriate actions to be taken to maintain competitive status and profitability of the hotel Maximize room revenues by utilizing yield management techniques Plan and oversee the design and implementation of sales and marketing strategies for the hotel Plan and oversee all maintenance activities SKILLS, ABILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Hospitality & Tourism preferred 4-5 years of related hospitality industry experience Candidate must have previous hotel management experience with strong leadership skills, ability to motivate staff, must be customer service oriented, and understand rate & yield management Skilled in hiring, managing and developing employees Hilton brand experience considered an asset Previous experience preparing budgets and business plans Ability to work in fast-paced environment under pressure and meet tight deadlines, large workload Detail oriented with exceptional organizational abilities If you are interested in the above position, please submit your resume in complete confidence to: Human Resources, Pacrim Hospitality Services Inc., 30 Damascus Rd, Suite 201, Bedford, NS, B4A 0C1 Fax: 902-407-4603.
