Reporting to the Operations Manager, our Guest Service Agents provide professional, attentive and efficient service to all our guests who visit Oceanstone. This position requires a flexible schedule that includes weekends and evenings. Hours range from 8am to 8pm.
 
Responsibilities include:
  • All aspects of guest service at the Resort.
  • Tasks to include but not limited to Front Desk, servicing meetings, and answering the phones.
  • You would be required to open the office and / or close the resort for the day.
  • You must be flexible with your hours anytime from 8am to 8pm.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Ensure guest absolute satisfaction
  • Completing pre-meal prep such as water, coffee, cutlery as required
  • General cleaning/clearing duties as assigned
  • Exceed the expectations of all guests (both internal and external) through empowerment and by responding attentively, efficiently and politely to all requests
  • Help create a positive work environment, through teamwork and cooperation with peers.
  • Contributes to a healthy and safe work environment by reporting all safety hazards, following WHMIS and working in a safe manner.
  • Maintains confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager
 
Preferred Qualifications:
 
  • Previous customer service experience required
  • Previous Hotel experience a definite asset.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment with minimal direction
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Ability to multi task and prioritize while providing excellent customer service
  • Knowledge of safe food and beverage handling procedures
  • Positive, professional demeanor
  • Must be able to physically lift a large banquet tray
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
