Professional Catering Delivery Driver

PART TIME/SUMMER SEASON

SUMMARY OF POSITION Scanway Catering is currently searching for part-time professional catering delivery drivers to help out over the busy spring and summer season. The successful applicant is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, and has a clean driving record. The catering delivery driver will perform deliveries of catering orders to businesses, drop-offs, pick-ups and other duties as required. Knowledge of driving in HRM is needed.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
*Ensure deliveries include everything as per the client's order.
*Ensure deliveries are made on-time.
*Look presentable and act professional with clients at all times.
*Help solve client problems or requests in a prompt and professional manner.
*Represent Scanway Catering on the road, while driving labeled company vans.
*All other reasonable requests that are made by sales & catering department or Scanway owners.
*Ensure Health & Safety standards are complied with at all times.
*Foster a team environment at all times with coworkers, culinary staff, and service staff.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
*High school diploma or equivalent.
*Clean driving record.
*Must be reliable and punctual.
*Good communication skills.
*Safe and smart driver.
*Must possess a high degree of professionalism.
*Must be able to work independently and maintain a positive attitude.
*Flexibility, long hours, holidays and weekends are required.
*Must be physically able to perform the requirements of the positions such as lifting up to 40 lbs, bending, reaching, etc.
