We are currently looking for Permanent Part Time Laundry Attendants.   Job Summary:             The main purpose of the Laundry Attendant position is to wash, dry, iron, and fold hotel linen for use by departments, and to deliver linen to floor closets daily, while maintaining a clean and well organized work area.   Accountabilities:   The Laundry Attendant must ensure that linen is clean and available for use by the hotel’s departments when needed.   Qualifications:   High School diploma and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred. Sheet folder machine, extra hand folder, ironer, washers, dryers, gloves, electronic soap device, mop and buckets, broom, vacuum, all purpose cleaner, gloves and elevators. Long hours sometimes required. Medium work – Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Ability to work in high temperatures. Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
