Director of Food & Beverage
Position Description:
The Director of Food and Beverage directs and organizes the activities of the Food & Beverage department in maintaining highest standards of the operation in quality, service and merchandising. Extensive experience in restaurant, bar, banquet, sales, catering required; leadership and motivational skills essential; a high school diploma and a culinary background including sales and service also required; college degree in a related field preferred.
Organizational Scope: Position is responsible for short and long term planning and the management of the Food & Beverage operations in the front of the house. Develops and recommends the budget, marketing plans and objectives and manages within those approved plans. The major areas of responsibility/management include: Catering Operations, Restaurants, Room Service, and Lounges. Participate in total hotel management as a member of the Resort Executive Committee.
