We are currently looking for full-time and part-time event sales associates to join our office team.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the event sales associate will be responsible for the following:

• Respond to incoming email and telephone inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
• Generate new leads through sales calls and web research.
• Follow up on outstanding quotes and prospects to ensure constant communication with potential clients.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from trade shows and incoming inquires.
• Negotiate & create event contracts for clients, and follow through to completion to ensure signed contracts and required deposits are in place prior to hand-over to event coordinator.
• Manage & maintain client database to ensure up-to-date contact information and communication notes.
• Create & uphold quality relationships with both clients and suppliers.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must have experience and must be comfortable contacting customers by telephone and must exude confidence.
• Speak articulately on the phone and be able to build good rapport with contacts.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated "people" skills, exceptionally organized with the ability to multi-task and self-manage.
