In the role of Executive Housekeeping Manager, under the direction of the General Manager, you will be responsible to supervise the daily operations of the housekeeping staff, promote a safe environment and quality service to achieve maximum guest satisfaction, protection of assets and minimal expenses. The Executive Housekeeper must also work closely with all departments to ensure a smooth overall operation of the hotel. Areas of focus include but are not limited to:
  • Monitor appliances, furniture, room supplies and general appearance of rooms to ensure all is up to hotel and brand standards
  • Monitors inventory of all housekeeping supplies ensuring that staff has the necessary supplies available to perform their assignments, while following budget procedures and expectations
  • Receives and confirms deliveries of supplies and services
  • Continually seeks to develop housekeeping policies and procedures to improve the current operation
  • Maintains daily management of departmental labour expenses
  • Hire, train, evaluate, and supervise the Housekeeping team
  • Leads, motivates, and coaches his/her team in order to maximize productivity and satisfaction.
  • Attention to details, strong initiative, positive team leader
  • Prepares schedules, payroll and workloads for housekeeping team ensuring maximum efficiency
  • Conducts weekly and monthly linen inventory
  • Prepares and follows up on incidents and accident reports
  • Monitors guest complaints and takes corrective action when necessary
  • Prepares and reviews daily housekeeping reports
  • Prepares and conducts annual performance reviews for housekeeping team
  • Inspects all hotel rooms, public areas, VIP rooms, and fitness/pool area daily to ensure that cleanliness meets hotel standards
  • Ensuring all Radisson brand standards and procedures are followed by the housekeeping team
  • Attention to details, strong initiative, positive team leader
  • Must be available on high volume days or special events; which includes evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned by the General Manager
